Clinical research is a branch of healthcare science in which an investigation is done in human subjects (healthy and ill people) regarding the study of new drug therapy or medical intervention. It focuses mainly on how to prevent, diagnose and treat illness through improving knowledge of diseases, diagnostic methods and new treatments for safe and effective patient care.
