BOOST YOUR IMMUNITY AGAINST COVID-19

As countries across the globe join hands to battle against the Novel Corona virus, medical experts are working at breakneck speed to find a cure for the highly infectious Covid-19. With no definitive cure in sight, a lot of people are working on boosting their immune system. One of the first few things in order to kick start your immunity system is to quit smoking and drinking alcohol right away. The minute you stop smoking and drinking, you actually give your body a helping hand in kick starting it’s natural defence system.

Here are the few immunity boosting tips:

Turmeric Milk: Turmeric is loaded with properties which can contribute better immunity. Consumption of “Golden Milk” can help you in preventing infections, cold, flu and many other health issues

Cumin Seeds: Researchers believe that cumin could help killing harmful bacteria that is trying to attack your Immune system. It also promotes digestion and is a rich source of iron

Coriander: As per lab studies, coriander offers anti-oxidant compounds that prevents cellular damage caused by free radicals and fight inflammation in body and also have anti-cancer, Immune-boosting and neuroprotective effects 

Garlic: Garlic can boost immune function as it  contains compound called as allin and when chewed, this compound turns into allicin that helps immune system to fight against germs

☆ Boost immunity with the help of Ayurvedic measures:

● As per the Ministry of Ayush, Alternate forms of medicines may function as preventive measures to protect against the spread of Covid-19 and might also be useful in the in symptomatic management of Novel Corona virus

● Take 1 tablespoon of Chyawanprash everyday in the morning. If you are diabetic, then you can opt for sugar free Chyawanprash

● You can also have Amla juice and Aloe-Vera juice as well, it builds the immune system and gives “Glowing skin”

☆ Chai Time: As Chai is all time favourite hot drink of almost every Indian guy. Here is the herbal chai/tea which boosts up your immune system. Drink herbal tea twice a day having a combination of Tulsi leaves(Basil), Dalchini(Cinnamon), Kali mirchi(Black pepper), Sunthi(Dry ginger) and Munnaka(Dry Raisin) you can also add Jaggery or Sugar for sweetness and fresh Lemon juice as per your taste

 


☆ Home remedies for dry cough/sore throat: For dry cough/sore throat that usually occurs due to weather changes or any other issue that is not so serious can be cured by using the below remedy.
Practice steam inflammation with fresh Pudina(Mint) leaves or Ajwain(Caraway) seeds once in a day. You can also have Lavang(Clove) powder mixed with natural sugar/honey and it can be taken 2-3 times day in case of cough/throat irritation

☆ De-Stressing is the biggest immunity booster: Ultimately, no matter what you do or don’t, what goes inside your head has a lot to do with what how your body reacts. So, when consciously distress yourself and avoid unnecessary tension and stress you pave the way to a stronger immune system. ● With constant engagement of the gadgets and the undying need to check what is happening online has left a lot of us with poor, broken quality of sleep

● What you don’t realize is when you don’t sleep well it hampers your body’s ability to fight back any inflammation and disease. So, sleep for at least 6-8 hours a day, this will boost up your immune system to fight against disease
