POST COVID -19 SCENARIOS (PREVENTION) 

INTRODUCTION:

• Corona virus (COVID-19) disease is an infectious disease caused by newly discovered corona virus in China(Wuhan)in  2019. It includes flu like symptom at early stage and respiratory distress.

• At this stage there are no treatment and vaccination are available to fight against pandemic COVID-19 in world wide. 

• But as we all aware of many clinical trial are ongoing to introduce the treatment or vaccine against COVID-19. As we know clinical trial takes a lot of time to introduce a drug into the market. So we should be aware of COVID-19 preventive measure for safety and betterment of an individual.

• To avoid transmission to COVID-19 indian constitution declare quarantined/ lock down in many state. as we aware that many areas are covered under Red zone where many cases of coronavirus are seen.

• That Red zone areas are covered with high alert police security with check post.

SOME OF POST COVID-19 SCENARIO ARE AS FOLLOWS: 

• POST COVID-19 PREVENTION ON EDUACTION SYSTEM:- 

Firstly schools (primary-secondary education) should not reopen until there is “0” cases in state as declared by a government. As we know children’s are more prone to infectious diseases because they have low immunity development. 

Schools reopen after declaration of “0” cases by the government, school management should ensure the safety and hygiene environment to the student. There should clean and disinfectant entire school and should follow basic principles and precaution towards COVID-19. 

• Place sanitizer at the entrance of schools and class room. 

• Place alcohol contains hand washes, sanitizer in wash room. 

• Introduce and emphasize the student about concept of social distance to keep themselves and other safe. 

• School staff should encourage student for personal hygiene by covering face with mask and by washing hand with alcohol contains hand washes for 20 sec .many children’s don’t wash hand properly teacher should take part an encourage primary student by giving fun activity while hand wash to understand the importance of hand wash  practice. 

• Awareness program should be conducted by school to give knowledge to student about pandemic COVID-19. And emphasize them to educate they family about COVID-19 or chronic diseases 

• Science exhibition should be conducted annually where they should be poster or oral presentation given on current scenario/ Epidemic/Pandemic/Chronic/infectious diseases where they can educate the parents about diseases. 

• School should give leave for ill student or staff. 

• Bachelor /Masters/Ph-D students should come forward for awareness programs or by promoting ideas on social media for prevention for COVID-19 cases in future. 

• Promoting ideas like, personal hygiene, hand washing, covering of face with mask, oral care, and covering of hands with gloves etc. can encourage the people on social media as we all know about 70-80% of population follows social media where they can learns basic preventive measures rather to go for treatment. 

• If government allow higher education for online classes the colleges should continue to avoid students in group. 

• TAKING CARE FOR COVID -19 DISCHARGE PATIENT

• Firstly patient should well know about COVID-19 what cause it to his/her health.

• Patients should not travel outside, they should complete they overall treatment prescribe by a doctor, they should follow frequent hand washing practice, covering face with a mask, and should maintain good personal hygiene and follow up Dr for 2months to avoid further prone to COVID.

• Basically clinical pharmacist play a major role by educating the patient and patient relatives about the COVID  signs and symptoms such as cough, high grade fever, cold, headache, pain, sore throat, shortness of breath in they own language to prevent other person from COVID-19.

Clinical pharmacist should educate patient’s relative about good health practice, proper method of washing hands, covering faces and hands, good sanitation practice. For prevention from pandemic disease for 2-weeks.

• SOCAIL SAFETY AND DAILY LABOUR WORKERS: 

• IT Company, MNC Company, large scale, small scale, and business holder should follow necessary protocol by maintaining social distance, hygiene environment, sanitation at working place.

• Due to COVID-19 all large to small scale sector have a huge loss in their business but all business holder ought to keep up harmony and astutely talk about the improvement of business.

• Firstly we should understand that they are no business or work beyond life.

• At working premises they should not give access to other visitor, they should ensured that all the employees are in good physical condition, they should not allow unhealthy employees who are recently ill with minor or major flu or fever, they should allow them a leave or work from home.

• In office premises they should maintain social distance at work station or meeting area or while lunch gathering. 

• They should frequently clean or disinfectant the entire premises and maintain alcohol sanitizer, hand washes etc.

• Employees should provide mask and hand gloves to protect themselves from any viruses.

• Daily wages labour should be educated by government like awareness program in they own languages. 

• Educate them about hygiene safety beware about post- pandemic situation how it can be reoccur.

• RELIGION CELEBRATIONS: 

• People should understand the importance of social distancing while celebration.
